Anyone else get their details leaked in the Gawker epic screw-up?

    lifehacker.com/571…85/

I'm willing to bet that at least a few people here had accounts on one or more of the affected sites (Lifehacker, Gizmodo, Gawker, Jezebel, io9, Jalopnik, Kotaku, Deadspin, and Fleshbot- mine wasn't Fleshbot, whatever that is :D) - if so, have you checked to see if your details were on the list?

I'm trawling through my e-mails at the moment to try and find all the sites I'm registered at with the same details after waking up to find an e-mail telling me my Amazon password was changed while I was sleeping. Luckily the ****s didn't order anything but they had access to my address details and mobile number. My Twitter account was also jacked on Monday, although luckily nothing had actually been done with it. It's very irritating as I use a strong password, but the one I was using for the Gawker account is the most commonly used of all my passwords! It's an absolutely massive thorn in my balls that I could do without and I've just realised, it's my HUKD password too so I'd best go and change that!!!

    Has anybody else been affected?

I use lifehacker but just lurk rather than register. Ironically they keep having articles about how to keep passwords sage

Funny thing is, I've only ever made a couple of comments on Kotaku and Lifehacker. I wish I'd never bothered now
