Anyone else having problems with Debenhams?

Yesterday I put an item in my basket and then when I went to check out it said that there were no items in my basket. I then found the item again, added it and proceeded to checkout only to find that my basket now contained 2 of the same item. I tried repeatedly to remove one but it wouldn't let me. I phoned Debenhams but they couldn't offer me any help other than suggest I log out and then back in again. I tried that but no joy and in the end I was so fed up that I got my son to order for me using his computer. Fast forward to today, the two items are still there, I still can't remove them and after yet another call, all Debenhams can suggest is that I email head office. Does anyone know how long items usually remain in your basket before automatically disappearing? I'd really like to order something else without bothering my son again and short of opening a new account (if that's possible) I'm lost.

If you have another browser try that .
That happened to me once. It was because the item was out of stock
It doesn't even work after I have cleared my cookies
It comes up with an error has occurred pls contact your system administrator
This is after I have tried to put items in basket
At the moment they are saved
