Is that the game where 22 players run around and try to get the opposition booked or sent off ?

Yes I know what you mean. I once loved the game but it's not the same now.

Yeah, the game where you try and hit the ball through two sticks and the opposition foul you to get it back.

I know what you mean and have felt that in the past sometimes. I think there should be a longer summer break --- I remember when I was younger and after a break from it I was so looking forward to the new season --- now it's almost endless, and so much on TV.

So have a little break, the season is almost over, I'm sure you'll get your mojo back next season.

depends on what team your watching il never get bored of watching Manchester City

I've grown bored of watching it this year. The quality of the Premiership has definitely gone down. More or less all the fixtures from now until the end of the season are meaningless

used to be mad about it as a kid
just boring and absurd now
find a proper sport to take an interest in

Hi Yes fed up,I am old enough(sadly)to remember when football was played by footballers, now it seems you have to go to RADA so you can con the officials into getting the opposition punished for phantom tackles and yellow carded for non contact, perhaps they should all go and play Rugby in the off season so they can man up!!!! What would Chopper Harris,Peter Storey,Jack Charlton,Norman Hunter and Billy Bremner made of the current crop of softies, makes me wince even thinking about it,I saw the state of George Bests legs after he played-not a pretty site, bet he wished he had played in the new non contact sport we call Football-rant over going to watch the Footie!!!!!!

Don't worry Nottingham Forest will be promoted next season so you will have a great team to watch.

I played football ever day growing up. I watched it whenever it was on tv. Don't even watch England when they play now. It's just ****!

On another note, i was dog racing last night and Mark Clattenburg was there watching his dog run. Looks an even bigger bell end than he does on the tv.

Football has always been boring, it's one of the worst sports to watch.....

I'll always watch/keep up with Albion, but I rarely watch other PL games or even MOTD anymore, let alone the lower leagues. The quality in our top league has gone downhill. Whilst Man Utd this season might have one of the more rounded squads of recent champions, the quality of the first XI is much poorer than in recent years. Not until a good CL tie do we get to see good games of football in this country...

Thanks, I needed a laugh.

Watch a game of rugby league, & then a game of football. Then you'll realise how absurd football has become.

Why is motd on at 10.30pm every week i just watch football first now because it takes too long to wait and then my team gets about
5mins at the end.

And if you support a league team you have to wait till 12pm what a joke.

I'm getting bored of football and decided instead of wasting my time watching BOTH MOTD and MOTD2. I just watch MOTD2 as they show the highlights of MOTD1 anyways.

Op. you are suffering from "armchair supporter syndrome" , the only remedy is to actually go and watch a game.

HTH.

WWE acting is better placed in the order of things;

Football < Porno < WWE < Eastenders < Patrick Stewart < The Shawshank Redemption

Yes definitely... it started a long time ago so I don't watch it X)

Started getting boring few years ago when diving and time wasting became the new trend in Football. Ever since then it has been tedious to me, unless it is Newcastle Utd, then I care.

I can honestly watch any game of football - in and amongst doing the usual chores on a weekend, I tend to watch the two/three Premier League games followed by either something from La Liga or Serie A...

However, I enjoy watching teams that actually play football as opposed to hoofing the ball to the other end of the pitch aimlessly(Stoke style) or parking the bus - those games are the perfect cure for insomnia.
