ABSOLUTELY SICK! VERY HUMANE KILLING THOUGH BUT VERY SAD TO THINK GREED MAKES US DO THIS! MOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Very good and informative programme.

I was very impressed with how skilled they all were and the different stages of inspection and the slaughter process.

Also didn't realise how much an effect the aging and hanging process had on meat.

I liked all the advice and info the butcher gave out, almost wish I made notes.

I am a steak lover though and would of liked to have tasted the meat that had only been killed and slaughtered minutes before hand still warm and jelly like due to no rigor mortice

It's a shame in the UK we're such animal lovers so people will over react to this whereas the rest of the world will wonder wtf is wrong with us, but the hand voting at the end proved that most people would rather be informed than ignorant.

It's allllll the animals fault - they just should shouldn't taste sooooooooooooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very interesting programme, just a pity they show the trailer on bbc1 at inappropriate times. My two young girls were quite upset at the ad showing the chicken on the plate, led to some very awkward questions for me to answer

Exactly same here, didn't see start or end of programme - just 'flicked' onto this bit and couldn't/didn't want to watch any further.

I know being as I am a meat eater this is the easy way out. But, I really couln't handle to wach further.

Didnt even like seeing the adverts for that programme! I am a vegan and after seeing that, glad I am a vegan!

I was in exactly the same situation

when they hung it up after killing it with the gun and then cutting its throat was mad, the amount of blood was like a power shower lol

Pressure bottlenecking at the neck for such a massive animal, probably quicker and cleaner doing it the way they did than any other kind of slow drain.

I didn't realise the ad was shown at odd times but then if kids are shown where their turkey twizzlers come from... :-D

it's little lambs tonight

i wanted to watch it(im a veggie)  ,but my hubby said no way it would put him off his burger!!!
i think it was more to do with his guilt than his stomach;-)
