Anyone flew from liverpool or been to benidorm lately

Going out on a stag doo on Wednesday and was wondering how much cigs and tobacco are in the airport.
Is it better to buy from there or wait and look around benidorm?

I came back from Benidorm Friday, you are allowed to bring back 3200 cigarettes I believe it's best to buy from the tobacco shops in Benidorm they are around €41.50-€42.50 & they are around €48-€49 at the airport

oO Benidorm.....looks like you will be cop-ping off with the nice boys

im sure tho there was an offer in the airport if you got 400..

    Muppet.

Bring back as many as you like, as long as they're for your own use i.e. not for selling to your mates down the pub.

Seems quite expensive really... I bought 400 last night from thompson on the flight home from CAncun for £40 but obv could only bring that back in.... (plus the hidden 20 pouches of bacca in my bag haha)

There will be plenty of players flying from Liverpool in a few months time. Ngog namely one of them.

Spain is in the EU, you are not allowed to buy tobacco products in UK airports for EU flights.

Buy ciggies in Tabacs shops in Spain, ( brown and yellow signs ) they are government controlled and have fixed prices, far cheaper than in Spanish Rip Off Airports.

You are quite correct but the last two times I flew to Alicante (2009) and Crete (2010), we could buy as many cigs as we liked at the airport terminals (airside).

Seems another EU rule that the UK rigidly sticks to yet others just ignore it!

Well they could sell them at the airport, but they would not be " Duty Free " so nobody would buy them in the UK.(_;)

Correct. They're duty paid. That's why they often have 2 prices on the shelf edge and why they ask to see your boarding card when you buy.
