Off on holiday to Staffordshire end Aug. Since booking we now have a lovley puppy, do you know any places that the children will enjoy (14 & 10) where we can also take dog.

Where abouts in Staffordshire are you staying?

    Near Leek

There Alton Towers, dont know if they take dogs though. There are some lovely walks like in Dovedale across the stepping stones.

Take a look at and brit trips give money off these.

Is it an actual campsite you want or places to visit???

    Days out, places to visit.

I live near Leek, towards Ashbourne area, to be honest its worse trying to think of a place when you live nearby but if you see any places you are considering then i can try and tell you what i think of the place

Hi, as stated before Alton Towers is the largest local attraction but not very good for the dog. Rudyard Lake is just outside Leek and has boating activities for the kids and walks for the dog?
Another place you may like to try is the Monkey Forest at Trentham (nr Stoke) but again not really dog friendly, but the kids would probably enjoy it.

Kingsbury water park. Pooley Heritage Centre. Moira furnace

All pretty low key, nice walk, kids park, toilet facilities, get an ice cream etc - but I presume you knew you wouldn't be able to get in a theme park with your dog!! These are all pretty local to us here in sunny Tamworth, Staffordshire! Our two little boys love all 3. And the dog does.
