Anyone getting rid of a hedge (North East England)

I know this is a long shot, but is anyone digging up a hedge that they no longer want?

I'm looking to plant a hedge as a screen in my garden, but I'd prefer an established one that can be replanted rather than saplings that will take years to mature.

Have you asked a Hedge Fund Manager...I think there is a lot redundant now lol

That is probably the strangest request I've seen on here !

Good luck - you never know !

Ask on your local freecycle, probably your best chance.

and possibly the worst joke to go with it!!!

People don't lovingly dig up hedges that they are removing. they would cut it down to stumps, and then hack out the roots.

I doubt whether the hedge would survive, the shock of a different soil type, at least saplings will have time to adjust and establish

also, Hadrian built his wall near you and he was patient, take a leaf out of his book!

I've got a bit going spare
