Anyone got a Fiat Panda (new versions!) - trouble removing filler cap

    Hope someone can help me!

Just had a courtesy car whilst the people carrier is to be repaired - given us a Fiat Panda (not exactly like for like!)

Trouble is, I can't take the filler cap off to fill it up with petrol. Does anyone have any idea or can give me a few pointers?

    Cheers

    this made me chuckle sorry.
I got given one 2 weeks ago as a courtsey car and had the exact same trouble. Basically there are notches that you have to line up with the inside bit so that it comes out, if that makes sense.
Just try gently turning the cap about 180 degrees and it should come free.

    It's a stupid filler cap!!!

Managed to sort this though by twisted it clockwise, then anticlockwise, and hey presto

Totally agree, in my opinion it is also a stupid car so i was glad to get rid of it on saturday when they replaced it with a new 5dr corsa!!
Hope you get on better with yours than i did with mine ;-)

im guessing it will be the same type as the one on my grande punto. it was a bit of a pain at first but once you know how to do it its easy. i just hold the cap, twist the key and then twist the cap
