Anyone got one of those steam shower enclosures?

Looking to install one in my new bathroom, One of the ones with the jets, lights ect.
found one on ebay for about £600, wondering if its worth that sort of money?

    Hi,

    Sounds interesting.

Did you get your other stuff from homebase?

We have one OP - its absolutely fantastic. I dont know about the price individually as I got the whole bathroom done last year and this was part of the package. I couldnt go back to a normal shower now as this is luxury!!

Going by what I paid for the bathroom though, £600 for that unit sounds good - but I dont have a clue about installation costs. GET IT !!!

We have the bath version, installed it about 3 years ago, very pleased with it. To be honest we don't use most of the functions but they all work as advertised. The big thing for me was that it saved loads of time, no tiling, as simple as plumbing in a washing machine and an all in one package. The only thing we replaced has been the hand held shower head, but that was personal preference not failure.

You are doing the whole house then.

I have been there, I gave up on my first house after lots of work.

no were getting an extension on the side of the house, knocking through on the bathroom and kitchen and adding a bedroom, its just external work at the minute so not effecting us, going to be knocking through in a couple of weeks, thats when the fun starts!

had a look, cheers for the heads up.

We have the jacuzzi bath one.The steam and shower enclosure is good but like someone else said we dont use all functions ie back jets (which are not that powerful) or the foot massager thing and one thing i would say ,it's a nightmare to clean !!
You have to go inside it and you get soaked so u have to combine the cleaning with having an actual shower or its like a military operation lol
