are you male or female?

The new IPL system is slightly different to the lazer and very good. I have heard of salons doing the whole body for £1000 in London untill you are completely hairless. I have also heard that the face is the only part of the body that doesnt completely clear of hairs. It is a great idea. As there are alot of people offering the services, the prices are competitive. You need to make sure that the area you want the laser for is not waxed plucked or threaded. It must be shaved in order for it to work. You should go once every 6 weeks and the results are usually very easy to see after your second session. There are alot of literature over the internet so I would recommend you google it. But I am thinking to have my underarms done. I would also recommend that you wait until after the summer as you would need to keep away from the sun. They also dont do it on people who have recently been away on holiday and have been tanned.

I'd feel all cold in the winter without my fuzz. lol

It is a pain to do but i'd miss shaving........it's been a ritual for so many years now it'd be like not having to go for a crap.

My friends' had her under arms and top lip done, she is really pleased with the results although i'm not too sure of details such as cost or how many sessions etc..

loooool! any serious answers

I'd like to know this too?:) I couldn't wait to start shaving, but now I find it a hassle - and no shaver (electric or manual) gives me a clean shave.

I have had laser treatment as a result of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and the side effects of anabolic steroids for a rare medical condition. I was lucky enough to get it on the NHS for which I am truly grateful.

It is painful!! Don't let anyone tell you differently as the higher the frquency, the more pain! The smell of burning hair is hard to get used to at first. They put a gel on the area to be done then place a probe that 'zaps' that area but the probe needs to be moved about. I jumped everytime i was 'zapped'. Afterwards, aloe vera gel is recommended to cool the area down as it stings and feels like it has been burnt! I'm asian so I can't tolerate high frequencies that would have got rid of the hair a lot quicker so it is time consuming and you need lots of sessions for some hair types! It hasn't got rid of all the hair as some of the finer hair is just so hard to get rid of! The area looks like it has red blotches afterwards so i had to hide that and that takes a couple of days to go away. You need to find a laser suitable for your skin. You have to shave between sessions. It has made a difference to me. But there are certain areas like my top lip I won't let the team do I just can't bear the pain!!

Hope this helps.

Please...this took me a lot of courage to write so please do not ridicule me. I already feel like a freak!!
