Anyone having trouble using Quidco with Firefox 2?

Found 11th Nov 2006
So far this month I haven't had anything track through Quidco - i've made 3 purchases through HMV and one through dvd.co.uk... but nothing has appeared....

since my last tracking i've upgraded Firefox to 2.0 - and I always use firefox for Quidco... as far as I can see nothing has changed... cookies are enabled, jscript is on... firewall settings haven't changed...

I found the dvd.co.uk cookie and that had Quidco as the referer... so perhaps i'm worrying over nothing, but its been over a week for one of the hmv orders and nothing has tracked (though I know other purchasers of the same goods have been tracked)... I seem to recall previously both hmv and dvd.co.ukare usually quick to track...

also know I have to leave it a fortnight before enquiring - but would obviously like to know my settings are ok before using Quidco again... perhaps i'll use ie7 next time...

has anyone else had problems with Firefox 2 & quidco... ?

Yep, been forced to use mozilla or opera for it

i use firefox, no problems for me

Same, Firefox 2 has been fine for me also.

Have you got it set as your homepage and to keep you logged in?

I log in each time I use it.

i'm auto logged in everytime, don't have it as a homepage. isn;t there a little warning telling you you aren't logged in and won't recieve cashback when you click on the link?

Yeah the line of text is red instead of green if you're not logged in

None of my HMV purchases have tracked for November

I've taken on board rayman's advice to have a browser installed that you just use for Quidco...as I've had a few purchases that failed to track.

I now have opera installed with Quidco as the homepage..so far so good.

just bought some dvds off blah yesterday and applied for a current account - tracked same day (using firefox2)

some of mine haven't tracked with internet explorer i am now using firefox thanks to advise from rayman and emma and all tracking now .

a little update - did a little experiment and went via Quidco to "TheHighStreet" (awful search engine) in IE7... just found out it tracked and should get 8p for it (not bothered about the money, just wanted it to track)...

have just done the same in Firefox 2 - so will wait a day or two to see if it tracked..

least it rules out the firewall - and FF2 settings look fine to me....

the saga continues...

hmmm... it tracked "TheHighStreet" via Firefox 2...

perhaps it was just a blip with HMV and dvd.co.uk - will send in enquiries when I get the chance and perhaps setup Opera to use it too....

Good advice, I do that too.

None of my HMV orders have ever tracked in Firefox 1.5 or 2.0, not sure about IE7 though....
however the other 20+ merchants that I use all track fine!

Strange... Never had a problem with HMV tracking and I've used them quite a bit.

Both browsers all versions too.
