Anyone know a way to transfer balance from a prepaid visa card?

Finally got my 'cashback' from Sony but after christmas I really just want to pay off my credit card rather than buy crap I don't need.

So now I find myself with a card loaded with £100 that can't be used at a cash machine and isn't accepted some places because of age and address verification limits.

Anyone managed a sneaky way to get the money out? I tried depositing the full amount at an online casino that I have an account with so I could withdraw to my bank but it wouldn't accept it.

Paypal? Send a payment to a friend’s account, they withdraw the money to their bank account and can pay you cash when it’s available.

That's my backup plan.

Don't really trust paypal to not find some way to screw me over and the only other person I know with a Paypal account still owes me £400 so don't know if I would ever see the cash. (_;)
I had a similar £50 card from Sony which I used in Tesco on groceries and fuel.

It would have been easier if they had just done a bank transfer rather than using the cards.
It's needs to be somewhere I can deposit cash into an online 'account' using the card and then refund to my bank.

Casinos would have been the obvious choice but the prepaid card won't work on these.

Wouldn't be so big of a deal if I hadn't of been such a mug before christmas and agreed with family to buy combined presents on my credit card. Month after the day and only one person has paid me back so i'm left with £1300 on my card and car insurance due next month.

Can't you deposit money into your paypal account without having to send it to anyone?

I'm sure I've done that before for some reason.
Yer you can depsit it into your paypal account an then when its gone into your account withdraw it to your bank
revzman is right - Top up your PayPal account and then withdraw the funds to your bank account.
