explore the possibility of having it under local!?

it's usually laprascopic cholecystectomy. i. e 3 ports one for the camera..one for gas. other for the actual removal . so less scarring..I suppose from an anesthetic point of view
a bit risky to put under GA but depends if said patient has other comorbidities I. e diabetes. heart issues etc...the anaesthetists are the decision makers in this case...

Thank you.. we have had a couple of appointments before so I think they have it covered..It was supposed to have been done last Thursday but after a nine hour wait they said threr was no bed in IC which they said she would need to keep a eye one her after the opp.. Again thanks..

I had mine removed years, I had a GA and a cut lower abdomen 5cm long to remove the Gall bladder, similar ependix operation. It took 1 month recovery. I hope she will have scopic done as this is less painful and no scaring. Good luck.
