Found 20th Jul 2010
Have got an integrated Whirlpool Fridge.

Its keeps freezing the food so i assume its the thermostat that has gone.

Just got the fridge out with a view to replacing the thermostat but it looks like the whole thing is encased in some sort of polystyrene or similar.

Do myou have to cut this out to get5 to the thermostat or am i missing something.

I thought that too when my fridge went and called a repair guy out. In fact the thermostat 'wire' is loose in the polystyrene and he just pulled it out and re-fed the new one back in.It's probably the same for yours so worth giving it a go as the thermostat is about £10 and the call-out was £70!
