Have you checked to see if the dispenser drawer is full of soapy gunk at the back (which would prevent the conditioner flowing down)?

normally at the bottom of the machine there will be a square opening on the right hand side. Just open the catch and tube behind... Then just clean out all the gunk.

    Warning... it will stink!

this is highly likely also! X)

LOL... You will definitely get some water coming out though..... and as I said, it will stink like sewage! (So clothes peg handy!)

Get a shallow bowl under the filter as there is normally a small rubber hose. Direct the water into this and then take the filter out. Don't just unscrew the filter without doing this.

Hmmm. I've never managed to get anything under mine.... just a towel to soak up and get washed after!

A baking tray with a small lip should work.

This is true! I'll remember that for future reference!

Had the same problem recently...totally pulled out the drawer where the conditioner goes and there is a hole underneath that was blocked with gunk...cleaned it all out with a cotton bud and was fine after that....my parents had same problem lately the hole wasn't blocked but where the drawer slides out from there were lots of small holes which when cleaned out it did the trick...Good luck!

Pull the drawer completely out and if you have a dishwasher, bung it in there to give it a good clean.

Thanks, didnt really wanna spend my saved up money on a new washer......not just yet anyway

    Just found this...

    easy fix.
lift out the blue part of the conditioner compartment and you'll see attached a tube at the end.
    clean this out completely.
also check the tube in the compartment is clear.
poke a cotton bud down it to clear it.
if you want to check to see if its worked take the drawer out(blue button at back of drawer) put the blue grid back in the dispenser and fill the compartment up under the tap ,hold the drawer level.
as it gets full you should see water start to flow out the back ,turn the tap off and if its worked the compartment will slowly empty.
these were a big problem for hotpoint and concentrated conditioners will block it regularly.

    mines indesit x

    thanks again thou

Nothing to do with the drawer if it's anything like our Indesit. Pull the draw out completely and look at the top bit of the compartment above it. There should be a set of holes above the drawer where the water will come in when needed and flush your conditioner in. You will probably find these holes are blocked. I don't really understand how these parts get clogged as it should be incoming clean water.
Get a paper clip or summat like it and give all these holes a good poke.
