Tesco credit card are doing 0% on transfers for 14 months with 2.9% transfer fee
Capital one are doing 0% until 01.02.2010 with 3% transfer fee, Egg are doing the same
Virgin are doing 0% for 16 months with 2.98% transfer fee
I think this is the best u will get at the mo.

The best 0% one at the moment is the Virgin one but there are as always conditions to having this.. ie if you have an MBNA card then you wouldn't be allowed it.. if that doesnt suit you take a look at

The Virgin deals looks really good though, and gives 10% discount in Virgin shops yes?

It does yes HOWEVER

if you whack a huge balance transfer on at 0%, any monthly payments you make are attributed to this first and foremost. Any spending you do on the card is paid off once the balance transfer is cleared, meaning you will be paying interest at the going rate (probably between 15-25% APR) on any purchases before tha balance is clear.

best idea is 2 cards - one for purchases, one for transfers.

yep.. it sure does.. but be careful if you are doing a balance transfer as that money being paid off goes to the back of the queue and you could end up with lots of interest.. my advice is to pay of the balance transfer first then use it for your Virgin discount offers.. heres a list of some of the discounts you can get...

If you have a lot to transfer go for one with no transfer fee. 3% could amount to quite a bit.

I've only got about a grand on there iirc, so the transfer fee won't be that bad

thet'll cost you a smidge under £30 then... i however am looking at a transfer fee of £300.. bummer

I've just got an Abbey Zero card.
It is only a 6 month 0% rate - but there is no handling charge.
So this givesw me 6 months breathing space until I find the next one!!

Martin Shaw was talking about this on GMTV this morning. He said there is an article on it on his site and a list of deals-hope its ok to give the url on this......i think this is the page.................moneysavingexpert.com/car…ail
