Anyone know what restrictions are placed in 1PASSWORD once the demo period ends?

States "The application downloaded from our website will remain fully functional for the first 30 days after you install it. After this initial trial period, you will need to purchase a license to continue using without restrictions.".

Anyone know how it becomes restricted?

    thanks

You won't be able to use it. It doesn't lose your work, just your access to it

They normally knock a tenner off every Xmas and at random other times if you're keen on upgrading.
    Don't pay £35 if you're not in a rush

Thanks all. Will keep looking for a free alternative. Tried lastpass but it's rubbish and often doesn't offer to save login info. Bit cheeky of 1password as it doesn't mention anything about payment on the download page and i only noticed it was a trial after looking at the ABOUT menu option

my issue with 1password was that I paid about £12 for the universal iOS version a few years ago, and then rather than updating it, they released v4 which had to be bought again. they claim they've sold many millions of the software but then said they're a small company that needs our support.
every premium app i've bought is normally a one-off purchase with no further costs. i didn't like this tactic.
in the end, i got v4 for free but have continued using 3 as i prefer it. i wasn't happy though.

same happened to me and thousands of others when roboform withdrew their lifetime licences. The fact 1password seems to be on v5 on ios, mac and android yet v4 on windows is another reason to stop me paying for the windows licence at this point as it may well be unsupported soon
