Just purchased a knew PlayStation 4. I was under the impression a new console came with a a PS Plus trial, but apparently not. I ordered a 1 year subscription online but it won't come until next week, so anyone know where I can get a trial in the meantime?

Thanks for any advice.

none of your games come with one? destiny had a trial for me. Also if you dont have it already then when you bought a ps4 last year there was an option to download a trial from the ps store (check that it might still be there)

saying that isn't psn down at the moment anyway due to the ddos attacks?

Only game I got was Driveclub and there is no trial with it. Went on ps store but only options I could find was to pay for subscriptions, couldn't find trial anywhere.

The way Ps+ works is as followed:

Player A has never used Ps+ before. He can then go onto the PS store and under the PS+ section is intitled to 2 weeks Ps+ for free.

Player B has used a PS+ trial, or a monthly paid pass on his Ps3, Ps4 and Ps vita. He can not do the same as Player A, as this has revoked his chance, as he has used the service before.

Player B can not use a free 30 day pass done by a PS+ code either. He is only intitled to one free pass if he has never used Ps+ before on that account.

If you've not used Ps+ on a Ps3, PsVita, or Ps4 on that account before. Just head into the store and check under the PS+ section and it should give you a free 14-30 days (think it's 14).
If you've used Ps+ before on the systems above, you are not intitled to another free pass.

Thanks. Can't remember using Ps+ in the past but it is not giving me the option of the free trial so I must have at some point. I may set up a new account to use until my subscription is delivered.

I got caught up in a Destiny 'scam' to be honest.
The Destiny Beta, had the option to get 2 day PS+ trial inside of the Beta.

I hit "sign me up" since I couldn't join the big PVP matches without it, it had added the 2 days to my account, and it removed my option to use the 14 day PS+ trial from the store. How sh*tty is that? the first time I use Ps+, it's limited by Bungie's joke of a game.

Just register a new name on the psn
