I'm planning to get a train up to Horsforth to visit the beer festival at St Margarets Hall on Church Lane

Been told it is a 20 minute walk but is it less / more? I don't mind getting a little lost getting there, but walking back I may be wearing beer googles

Check on googlemaps, it's apparently 0.8 miles so shouldn't take to long to walk but Horsforth is quite hilly - why not get a taxi back from the hall to the train station, shouldn't cost too much if you have the beer goggles on!

The station is on the other side of Horsforth from St Maggies Hall.. You will need to go up the road from the station away from the Fox & Hounds pub BUT towards the Old Ball Pub (pop in for one), then left at the roundabout past the queens (pop in for another) follow the road up to west end fisheries and the Grey Horse (yet again!! pop in..) Then it's a long slog, following that road all the way past Morrisons (take out tinnies) and St Margarets Hall is on your right.. About 20 mins give or take the odd pint or two..

Get a Taxi back.. lol
