    Sorry, just updated. Australia

I'm an Australian who moved to the UK last year for work. Working in Australia is quite limited and you'd likely need to meet some strict criteria in order to do so (depending on length of stay and field of work). What is it exactly that you would like to know?

Want advice a family member who will soon be graduate and thinking of going to Australia for a year and working

Feel free to PM me, I moved to Melbourne in 2006, Sydney in 2008 and have just moved back to Manchester after 10 years down under. Highly recommended to try living there, weather's great, very kid friendly there...but, very expensive and horrendous traffic in the big cities. If you've a family and need to work in or near the city, be prepared for looooong commutes. If you're young, and no kids, go for it, rent a small place bang in the middle of things for a few years, you'll love it.
