people are just dumb unless buyer is set up as power seller with a ton pf feedback i never bid on stuff where seller has 2 or more of same item especially high value stuff like wiis

It was obvious from the start it was going to go sour, some people just see a "bargain" and get blinded by it.

Yeah I remember it..my god I cannot believe people can be so blind.

Netted the seller over £5300 in total including shipping fees!!

Thinking about it, how would he get the cash out of paypal? Wouldn't really transfer it to a bank account surely as it'd too traceable

Thats whats puzzled me as with my paypal account I have to reconfirm all details when I hit £1700 in a twelve month period which took about a week.

Saying that he could have done that in advance and then used a paypal top-up card and blag address to withdraw it,

Unless they spent it all in the meantime maybe....or you could split it up in to loads of smaller payments to other bogus paypal accounts.....or pay for loads of bogus ebay listings etc etc

I don't know if any of those would work but for £5000 its worth it for them to try
