As it's a different model (note 7) I doubt it, unless the s8 is due then simply get in the phone and haggle a good price, that's what I did

it may drop before the next iPhone announcement

Why bother with Samsung when iPhone is the best? Get an iPhone and have the easy life Androids too much messing about and buggy a buggy OS that's not fluid across all devices, Too many devices, hardware and different manufacturers spoiled it. iPhones just all work well. iPhone SE is a great phone one of the best they have ever done. Small light well made, and with all the power of iPhone 6! For half the price

Can't find my roll eyes emoji it's too early ^

cheers for the replys.

Westy 125 just curious as to the deal you got, as current contract was unbeatable, s5 for £23, with the usual ult calls/text and abit of data.
I understand s7 / edge is more expensive, but so far the upgrade deals offered are way more pricey, almost shop prices oO was hoping for 25-27 quid a month (allowing for the price difference bettween the s5-s7's)

If you don't mind a refurb handset then there are some pretty good deals in here (Hide the multi redemption cashback deals they're more hassle than they're worth) Best one I can see is Vodafone 3GB data, Unltd Texts and Mins £45 handset and £28pm

seems the days of very good retention deals are lost and networks focus more on getting new customers. also bear in mind the S7 edge is the most expensive phone at launch Samsung has ever released (until the note 7 that is) so getting it for similar prices to the S5 is unlikely.
