    Anyone transfer VHS to DVD?

I was looking at the Tevion Home DVD Creator they had advertised in Aldi for £20 and was thinking of using this to transfer my Wrestling Videos to DVD. It seems to get mixed reviews. Has anyone used it and was it easy to do. Thanks for any help.

    One quick review....wrestling is RUBBISH!!!!!!!

You lost it with the wrestling comment, there would have been a thousand replies by now had you been transferring your massive porno stash onto dvd.

i think a majority of the blokes on here will reply with hints/tips..mostly from previous experienceX)

    Can anyone help?

It'll work BUT its not a very good unit (20 quid, come on) and if the vids have Macrovision (the copy protect system) it won't work at all.

Thanks. May give it a go, like you say its only £20

why not just connect the video plyr to the dvd and press record?

I think thats how I did it (no not wrestling vids)

I dont there is anything that will allow you to transfer a bought VHS tape to another VHS or DVD ,because of the macrovision , as already stated . I use a macrovision buster . It's just a scart to scart cable with some clever electronics in one scart plug that decodes the signal. I put tapes onto DVD at work with it . Of course if you have poor quality masters , you'll get poor quality copys.
