Anyone used a Home Buyer? Quick Sell Ltd - http://www.sell-quick.co.uk

Found 15th Apr 2011
I'm considering contacting these people: Quick Sell Ltd (http://www.sell-quick.co.uk) to see what they would offer for my home as we're wanting to move. We've been on the market a while, knocked down value of home etc, had two potential buyers, one couldn't proceed as they hadn't sold theirs and the other couldn't get the mortgage amount!

So considering going down this route and wondered if any HUKD users have used them or have any experience with home buyer companies.

Any advice appreciated!

if possible, why not rent it out? you get an income from it and you get to move in to a new house

Have PM'd you.

we contacted sellquick limited who tried to get us to sign up to their estate agency www.expressesataeagency.co.uk

this beggars belief as all they are offereing is the same service that we have withour current agent!, but to revalue the property... so basically drop the asking price! Tsssssk! we know that already!

anyway, to buy the property outright (despite their advertising of 90-100% valuation offer) they said 70%..... and they even had the cheek to ask what equity we had in the property!!!! GTF comes to mind!

so tread carefully people!

Hahaha, thanks for that ktpok!
We have been with "Express" Estate Agents for 8 weeks now, and only had one viewer, nowt else. Have had to reduce our asking price to waaaaaaay below what we need to sell it for ("But don't worry, we will still get the amount you need for your house", yeah, right!), and thought sell quick might be able to buy our house for us! Now I know it's the same company I will avoid!!

So how can they get away with advertising 90 - 100% ? Surely that's misleading and against the law.
