Anyone used Bequite Basse 500 Computer case

Bought this case, just wondering how you connected the fan power cables ? did you use an adaptor ? if so which one or did you rethread them to the MB after taking the extension section off.

Not got this case but it should be a generic molex/fan connection where power comes from the PSU but fan speed is linked to sys fan header on mobo. Do you have a fan controller ?

On the front of the case is a 3 speed fan switch all the leads go to that switch. The other end leads have a S-ATA connector and 2 x 3 pin fan sockets. None of which I have power outlets for as they are. The case has two fans and following the lead they have extensions, I'm thinking if I take the tensions off they'll just fit on the sockets on the MB.

The case is the only thing new as I'm knocking together a web server to play with.

I assume the sata is a power connector and the fans are powered through the fan controller. Depending on fan size you might get away with running straight from the mobo headers but I would check the current requirements to see if your mobo has enough juice to power the fans.
I use 200mm fans myself which I just run at full speed.

Should be no problem with power 750w PSU - I just didn't want to fudge anything so really would like to know from anyone who uses the case.

Mmm... think I've discovered the is one fan plug which is spare and just one power plug which is s-ata but still can't seem to find a way to connect this to any power outlet either on the MB or the PSU. Here is an image I think is the connection I have https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/G/01/aplusautomation/vendorimages/40b46d3f-d8ea-45f9-b441-c8826ada8dc3.jpg._CB303393996_.jpg

This will connect to any SATA power connection. It's to provide power to the fans.
    Something like this

I so misread that image - plug in as kester says a female sata power connector. If your psu does not have one get a molex to sata adapter. Alternative is, as you suggest, disconnect and use motherboard headers - this will make the switch at the front for fan speed redundant.

@kester Think he already has the controller

Yes, it's a problem I didn't envisage to be honest. I have another PSU and just checked that and it has a sata connection. Just means I wasted my money on this new PSU and I'm might not be able to utilise all the HDs I have. Swings & things :-)

You can grab one of these amazon.co.uk/dp/…ata

Make sure the SATA end doesn't have moulded cables as these sometimes short due to a design flaw during manufacturer. There are cheaper ones but they could catch fire.

    Wouldn't fit my power cable.

Should do, you should have a mixture of SATA and Molex connections, even the latest top tier PSUs still support Molex. Where did you get this PSU from ?

It's fine now, I've used the older PSU that game with the MB think it's call an Hippo and added an extra fan so all 3 working on front switch. Must say if anyone is looking for one this case is excellent, I was lucky enough to get it for £45 :-)
