    Anyone using BlackBerry service on O2?

    Is your Data Service down right now? I can't seem to receive any email or any kinda data service ...

    Phone and text messages still work ... weird

    Weird, I am in Ealing, not too far from you, checked with a mate at work his O2 iPhone also can't get any Data Services

    I started posting network messages that I received from O2 but they did not seem to generate much interest so heres todays......

    We currently have a problem affecting 3G Voice, Text and Data Services (including Mobile Broadband and other High Speed Data Applications) in North London and surrounding areas. All 2G services remain available. We’re working on a fix and will keep you up to date with our progress.

    Dear Customer,



    Following on from our earlier email regarding a fault affecting our 3G Voice, Text and Data Services (including Mobile Broadband and other High Speed Data Applications) in North London and surrounding areas, the impact is now as follows: Customers in the affected areas are unable to utilise high speed 3G data services only. Voice and Text services are not affected. All 3G data related traffic can be redirected to the 2G network for handsets that are configured to use it – this will require manual intervention and is not completed automatically. The locations now affected are North London, South London, West London, South of the M25 to the South Coast (including Brighton) and the Isle of Wight. Please find attached maps showing affected cell sites as red circles and working cell sites as green circles for your reference.
