Anyway of knowing if someone has blocked my hotmail email address?

Had a huge row with someone by email the other day. He gets sulky after a row and likes to block. I wanted to email and apologise but figured I could be blocked. Is there anyway of knowing with hotmail? Does it send an undeliverable reply to you if you're blocked or does it disappear into oblivion and i'll be none the wiser whether or not he received it?

oh cool at least i'll know whether he gets my apology or not thanks

if he doesn't, then it's his own fault for sulking isn't it?

    Original Poster

true but if I think he's had my apology and still doesn't speak then i'm likely to shout at him some more

I can't apologise face to face I won't be seeing him and as the argument was by email makes sense to apologise by email

No I havent blocked you (this time)

Its an email. you cant block an email only have sender redirect straight to junk mail.

of course you can apologise face to face, just because you broke us in a virtual fight doesnt mean you cant make up in reality.

Some people need to get out more..!!!

    A huge row by e-mail.

If you can't meet, go old school and send a letter. Or send a text, those are unblockable.

i did think a text but it would be too long. Nothing worse than making someone's phone beep continously for 5 mins with msgs when they're already annoyed with you lol but yes if I can't find out whether or not he has blocked me as a sender on hotmail then I guess I could write him a letter.

Doing it face to face isn't an option, we won't be seeing each other again. He lives far enough away that a special trip to apologise isn't going to happen besides he hates people turning up unannounced and given that we've argued he wouldn't be pleased to see me lol would probably just cause another argument. I'm only apologising because I said something in the heat of the moment that I really shouldn't have done and now i've cooled done i'm sorry i've said it. I'm not trying to reconcile and see him again, I just want to apologise for what i've said. Lol it was a simple question about whether i can find out if hes blocked me as a sender on hotmail not a request for your opinion on whether or not we should argue by email.

    WOW, thats harsh! lol

If someone wants to apologise wether it be by email, text, letter or phone ,people should have the good grace at least to acknowledge the apology even if they can't forgive the reasons.!
