Are you able to connect to iTunes on a computer?
Yes, just trying Apple support again
Had a new battery or screen ?
Here’s a few things that cause temperature warnings.

- New screen over consuming power and causing heat;

- Battery gone bad or need reconnecting;

- Back camera gone bad;

- Thermistor damage;

- Reference thermal resistor damage;

- Board level failure:

— Shorted capacitor;

— Failing backlight circuit;

— Flash light circuit damage.

This is not exhaustive.
Nothing new or replaced

Oh it’s a nightmare they have said there’s nothing I can do except trade in or walk in to a store so will try those

Thanks for the help x
What model is it? I know there was a spate of Apple changing batteries for £50 because they were faulty and causing all sorts of problems

Faulty motherboard. Might as well bin it. Can repair these things.
