Apple iTunes - 14 days returns on all products, no questions asked!

Found 31st Dec 2015
Bit of a heads up for everyone. Apple have just changed their terms and conditions to bring them inline with EU legislation. This means they are now offering no questions asked refunds in all iTunes products up to 14 days after purchases. This includes music, movies, games and apps. Previously it was very difficult to get a refund.

Why has this been moved to Misc?

Hi As you highlighted it's more heads up info rather than a deal, thanks

you'll be fine with it after your spree at tesco though no doubt!

Does this apply to in app purchases?

Yea I'm fine with it, no issues from me (I don't use Itunes anyway, it's horrible).
Just waiting to see if anyone appears and calls this 'Fraud', even though they're happy to exploit any other glitches, misprices etc.

Be careful, they reserve the right to refuse a refund still, so if they think you watch the whole film or played the whole game it may be declined.

14 days is too much as it's plenty of time to get a game, complete it and then get a refund.

Should be 48 hours.

Some games are just rubbish or really bad on the app store and you should be entitled to your money back no questions.
like wise some apps are just as bad.

Should be in freebies at least.

It's a refund policy, not a freebie.

Depends how you use it.

Why don't you post some "freebies" about how to shoplift from retail stores, in that case? What you're suggesting is no different.

Nothing to fuss over. Once you have the content on your device, you are no longer entitled to a refund.

9 times out of 10 there's a free or trial version you can try.
If you buy something without triyng it out or looking at the reviews, and it's terrible, it's your own fault.
