Do you mean the Macbook Pro? Are you a student or related to an educational facility in some way? Apple do student discounts direct from their website...other than that, its pretty much an even playing field when it comes to the price.

Never EVER EVER buy from dabs.com!!

They gave me the run-around for 3 months on a warranty repair, first claiming that they found no error, then that it was out of warranty, then that I should take up the issue with the manufacturer... only after getting the trading standards involved did I get a refund.

The £10 I saved was in no way worth the 40 odd emails I had to write them - they have no phone!! (funny for a company that allegedly belongs to britishTelecom...)

My advice? Go to JohnLewis and they'll price match any high street store, also generally give you a good guarantee & service

Did you use the link while on the network at your "education establishment"? (as they call it)

As thats cheaper again, than the usual student prices.

Just checked the HE store via the institution network and it works out to be £1,444.08. So a £255 saving, and futher codes cannot be applied when going thru the HE stores.

If I were you, I'd really get it from the HE Store. Not worth risking getting it from anyone else - just in case something goes wrong, you'll be most likely to get it repaired/refunded/exchanged if you buy it directly from Apple.
