Apple scam e-mail??

Found 4th Nov 2014
Just thought I would post this as I know most folk know to avoid emails from banks etc but I have never had one from "apple" before.

Below is a picture of the e-mail that came from noreply@apple.com

Appears suspect to me. FAQ links to nothing whatsoever and the validation link address is as follows:

esses.co.uk/app…d5/

Web page looks very professional but that address doesn't look quite right and unsurprisingly none of the links work.

This might be well known but thought I would post this for others to see as its alot more professional looking than most phishing emails so people may fall for it.

I personally wasn't aware of this one, so will keep an eye out. Cheers!

I have had this several times over last few months, but it came through my BT account, which is not connected with Apple, so I knew it was a scam.

You could tell as it was from esses that it was not apple. These people will stop at nothing to rob you nowadays. Russia, Eastern Europe and Nigeria have a lot to answer for and need righter cyber laws.
Thanks for posting.

Mods...would be good to have a section for fraudulent companies, emails etc. in HUKD imo
