I cant get my mouse to pair with my mini mac!

The mouse only turns on when I hold down a little white bit on the underside of the mouse; I couldnt find a pic on the net of my exact mouse (Older wireless one) but here:

Do you still have the installation disk for it? If not there was something on the apple site you could download. Failing that you can use the little apple remote.

isnt there a sync button on the mouse and on the reciever

Mac Mini has bluetooth built in...

I just think its wierd how it works if I press the lil white thing down... as soon as i let go it loses its connection

the apple mighty mouse has a few problems (mainly broken roller balls). that small button is the one pushed by the slider in the base that goes across the optical window.

have you tried sliding the slider backwards and forwards a couple of time to see if the green light comes on. works for me if it wont connect
