I am looking for the filters pictured below but they all come as the square looking Evolve ones.
Anyone still have the aqua optima original jug and found a suitable replacement?
Or should I just bin the jug and get a new one as there is no alternative?

sorted byAqua Optima Original 30/60 and Evolve 30/60 are being phased out and replaced by the one cartridge: Evolve+
Evolve+ is a 30-day cartridge, fits the same Aqua Optima appliances as the previous cartridge types and can be purchased from your usual retailer.

Im in the same boat.
Have 8 months worth left.
Been using them for about 8 years now.
Going to change to Evolve +, just looking for a deal on jug and filters.
But that is what the email I received said.

our jug is still fine and it works very well so it seems a shame to throw it out. i had a stash of filters, which have now ran out and was surprised to find that they are no longer on sale.
will have to get a new jug then. thanks.
Bigwheels has posted the new filters fit the old jugs
I tried a new jug last year advertised for the fridge but it was too thick to fit the door so went back to the old jug after a deep clean

- Amazon Basics filters fit and are compatible with all of Amazon Basics, Aqua Optima, Brita Maxtra*(not MAXTRA+ filter jugs), Tesco, Wilkos and oval shape jugs
(edited)i have already tried the evolve ones on my optima original and although they fit, they leak so not all the water is filtered and you end up with some non filtered coming through.
i have bought the 2.5l jug on amazon as i don't like the bigger jug either since we have the smaller one. i have £10 discount from amazon, which i was struggling to use so works out perfect.
i think they mean aqua optima new jugs and not the original aqua optima as the shape of the original filter is oval instead of rectangle.
as i had mentioned, i used the evolve one for the optima original and it leaked as the interface of the evolve is rectangle in shape, instead of oval.
