I'm debating on whether to buy a new mattress from IKEA. They've got a 10% discount promotion going on for Sultan Sprung Mattressess and I'm tempted, I don't know anyone with one so it's down to you to let me know. Link and pic of mattress in thread.

They are different sizes to UK mattresses so make sure your sheets will fit first.

ive had an ikea mattress before and i didnt think it was very good, but it was different to the one in the picture.

Very good value for the money, and there's always the 25 year guarantee to fall back on if there's a problem:

Same for us, we've had this make of mattress for the past year. Also have a topper on it as well.

Thanks for the replies. I popped over to IKEA Glasgow, looked at the price tag, then decided that the mattress I have at the moment is not too bad after all. Sometimes I can be UberFrugal: I wouldn't even part with £16 for bed slats lol.

Anyone know where you can get the bed sheet sets for the children's ikea beds/mattresses other than Ikea?

I'm just back from ASDA and they had a selection of bedding for small beds. Perhaps they do it online too. Another possibility might be Argos?

What are the Malm beds like?? I've been thinking of getting one, but really need a bad that doesn't creek and squeak, lol.
