Are Northeners more friendly than southerners?

Ive only spent a limited time down south, working a few weekends, going to away matches and rode to london but didnt spend enough time to notice if they were any real differences plus i was drunk most of the time.
Are you from the north and have spent a lot of time down south and what are your opinions from your personal experiences. Also vice versa.

I am a southerner living up north and can say the answer to this question is Yes

Leylands ok, it's near Preston, Lancashire. . now if you were comparing Burnley, Blackburn, Bradford, Bolton to London then I would rather move down south and take my future family down there for the next 100 years

First time I went into a shop up here the cashier said "Thanks cock" my response was "who are you calling cock"

Do you dislike all places that start with 'B'?

By the north i would say the northwest and yorkshire upwards. People living in the midlands to me are not northeners.

    Yea. Unless you're foreign.

    Regards

    A northerner

Edit: ^^^ That is a criticism of northerners and not my personal view.

    Controversial. Been in ukip long?

    Both 'groups' are polite.

Am from up north east, moved down south when I was 9, moved around down there a fair bit, near Milton Keynes, few towns in Hertfordshire, Kent etc. I moved back up north east just over 2 years ago people are more friendly here. Best decision I've made to move back here, I doubt I would move back down.

I don't know why everyone is suddenly talking about Twerking. My mate from Yorkshire has been doing it for years.

    As he says, it's how he gets t'money t'pay t'bills ........

Ending a sentence with 'mate' in the North can be quite aggressive.
Ending a sentence with 'mate' in the South seems mandatory.

    OK pal?

Northern traffic: Flows freely, everybody gets there on time & in one piece.
Southern traffic: Two speeds: Complete standstill for hours or breakneck speed to get to a gap far smaller than the vehicle being hurled towards it.

Northern trains: Relaxing. On time. Full of people that chat to you.
Southern trains: Standing room only (under armpits of everybody else). Often delayed. Sometimes cancelled because an earlier train was delayed. Full of people not making eye contact.

    Northern water: Drinkable.
    Southern water: Undrinkable.

Northern women: Free & (cough) easy.
Southern women: Expensive. So I believe.

    Northerners: No accents.
Southerners: Seemingly hundreds just in one city!

Northerners: Few ways to ask for Coffee... Hot, Black, White, Sugar, More Sugar, No Sugar. Bought. Out the shop. Drunk. Enjoyed.
Southerners: Iced Skinny Mocha Hazelnut Macchiato Café Vanilla Americano with Sugar-Free fancy-schmancy Syrup... & that's just the first option on the menu! You for Coffee?

Im not to sure about the accents in the north, even taking away all the african, romanian and other european accents in the northwest you have very different english accents. A scouser stands out like a sore thumb in manchester when they talk and when ive been to liverpool and people have heard me talk they have turned around and give me a dirty look when they have heard my manc accent.
