Used to be with plusnet but would not recommend them, ok for downloading small amounts of data. But for large unlimited downloading I would steer clear of them. Just my 2 cents

And they charge if you want to leave them, a 20 quid disconnection fee, rip off, thats even after your contract has expired

(We currently charge £5.75 for a ‘cease’ of your broadband. From 29th October 2008 this will be increased to £20. This is because our supplier, BT Wholesale, has increased the cancellation charge which applies if you stop or ‘cease’ your broadband service.)

    Bawbags.

I wouldn't recommend them - complete ass clowns.

Yes, cease as in... no service not migration (to another ISP) which is what most people want.

Personally I rate Plus.net highly, I leave my computer on overnight downloading whatever I want as it's unlimited from midnight - 8am. I downloaded over 10gb last night easily :).

    seconded lolz

They were lousy when I was with them.

After I cancelled - and stopped the direct debit - they restarted it later - and as I never really check my statements - it took me months to realise. So it was cancelled again - and they did the exact same thing again.

It took over a year to sort out.

I would not go near them with a bargepole.

My Sister had their service in Lincoln and was very pleased, but she's not a heavy user. seemed to work for her. She's gone with Virgin now she has moved.

Plusnet = BT and BT = overpriced for what you get, Draconian T's & C's coupled with pure evil policies towards customers (lookup Phorm for an example of BT's evil ways).

I wouldn't personally go anywhere near them.
