Are there any PHP MySQL gurus around

Not sure if this request is allowed but is anyone a Guru on PHP and MySQL.

Struggling with some new implementation into existing site.

It worked fine offline on local machine but copied over files, uploaded everything, altered paths to those on server and changed DB settings. Connection to Server works but getting errors. Nothing working as it should.

Spent too long on this.

Originally it was hosted on 1and1 basic hosting package but had Allow URL errors, moved it onto Windows Server and getting others issues cant pinpoint.

MySQL used 5.5 and Php is 7.x

Just need it fixing, if someone is able to help can pay them for their time.

Mods - if asking for paid help not allowed please let me know and will amend post.

Thanks

You could post on stack overflow, they're usually very helpful.

What issue are you having? I could skype with you later on if you like

+1 stack overfolow is great

+ 1 for stack overflow
-10000 for a Windows PHP box Always use LAMP

Probably going to be the config settings in php.ini, referencing hard paths, permissions (if your writing, creating or running and commandline) or if it's IIS MSSQL conflicting with MySQL on ports.

Best think to do is enable error reporting then work through both any php/mysql errors on your pages as well as any Windows error messages.
Most will simply be a case of googling the error and following a guide.

when u say is on windows server, do mean on 'azure'. if that case u might need look in to web.config

windows PHP world of pain, not going there thanks.

Hi All, thanks for your replies. We are just packing to go away for a few days but other half taking laptop. Will post up brief issues i.e errors getting and if someone can help than more than willing to contribute financially.

And yes Windows IIS and PHP not the best but its what it is.

Do have basic hosting on 1and1 which is Linux but its shared hosting so looking to have everything on one server and its unfortunately our window server which take priority.

Hoping its something simple as the same errors occur on both the Linux and Windows when dumping all files and db on both.

Came across stackoverflow a few times today after googling error line so will take a look and maybe join.

Though always easier to pay someone to fix

for what it's worth, if you do want to move away from windows I wouldn't mind setting up a server for you if you bought a vps from ovh or something
