Argos price promise?

Found 1st May 2009
I have ordered a couple of sofa's which are due to be delivered by Argos today. The total cost is £699. The problem is these sofa's are also available in Homebase for the same price, PLUS todays 10% discount PLUS they have e-mailed me a 15% off code. This 25% is worth and extra £175 discount.

Due to distance selling laws i could return these sofa's and reorder them from Homebase but just wondered if anyone knew of anything Argos already had in place that may help?

Argos & Homebase are the same company, ring them up and explain and they may knock off 15% if you explain

What you waiting for then! I bought a telly from Tesco and 1 week later they dropped the price by £40 so I asked for the difference and they refused. I took it back got a full refund and went down the road an bought it. All they have now is a used TV for their trivial rules and I got the discount. Vote with your feet
