    Argos refund is a joke

    So i phoned up about returning a television on the 11th of January, they came picked it up on the 18th of january.

    I cant remember the exact days i phoned them but it was always after the "waiting period" but it was similar to this anyway.

    I wait the 3 days as stated when i phoned to arrange a return, the 3 days pass and i phone up , got told it was 3-5 days, wait till 6 days, still no refund so phone up again and got told its 7-10 days. Phone them up after 12 days and got told that there system was down, i then phone them back a few days later and get told my refund is getting processed this was last Friday and still no sign of a refund.

    This is an absolute joke, there customer service is terrible aswell, putting me through to different departments all the time, they will be getting a lengthy complaint from me.

    argos are a joke, i bought a suite last year and both recliners broke (2 sofas) their customer service was shocking and every person told me something different, send them your compliant in writing (recorded delivery) hopefully you will get somewhere (i got a cheque for £250 for loss of earnings and having to take 4 days off to get them fixed) you dont ask, you dont get :thumbsup:

    I pre-ordered a game off them for £28, but bought the game on release day for £20. I ended up taking the game back to Argos for a refund, and they refunded me £45 back (price of the game on that day) !!

    Better training/system upgraded is needed then - refund straight onto card, so no idea how much it was until statement time !

    Can you believe i am still waiting for this ?

    Shocking now been offered a good well gesture of "gift vouchers", they will probably never come aswell, told them to have the money in my account within 7 days or i was going to go get some legal advise. Lets see what happens now then.
