argos return without receipt

Hello everyone,

Had a birthday gift delivered from Argos, ordered by someone else.

Will Argos accept a return for refund or gift voucher, without the receipt?
The box has stickers on it showing some details including info showing item came from Argos.

Want to try avoid the awkward conversation of having to explain why I dont like the gift
