Asda direct "delivered"... But not?

I ordered the Wii U from here on Friday, and the website claims it is delivered. Yet on the DPD website suggests it's due for delivery today, but they 'haven't received' it, so will deliver tomorrow, has anyone had a similar experience? Also: i attempted to get an explanation from customer support, but they were useless.

Just go with what the DPD website says.

Delivered means they have made the receipt.
    Your order will come

I had this problem before with tesco, they were adamant that the parcel was delivered and that they had my signature, yet i could prove that it hadn't been (due to living on a military base.) and not actually being in the same country on the date it was alleged to have been delivered.

In the end after lots of arguing with managers, it transpired that the delivery company had picked up the item as planned and then "delivered" it to a 2nd company, at that point as far as tesco were concerned the item had been delivered to me as they had a signature for it, even although it took a further week for the item to actually turn up at mine.

Worked out well for me in the end as i got the item price and delivery cost refunded for having to take 2 additional days off work and Tesco lying to me on several occasions, i then also was refunded the delivery cost again as it was late. So not all bad.
