Asda Small Heath Birmingham have loads of their own brand mature cheddar cheese 750 grams for £1.75 and it is dated around the middle of March 2023.

i always grate and freeze to make the most of it.

    Never understood this business of grating cheese before freezing ?
    It makes it go all crumbly anyway
    Cheese connoisseurs say slice anyway and would run around with their hair on fire at the thought of freezing it(never mind buying asda own) so just freeze the whole block.
