ASDA Web site Down

Anyone trying to use the ASDA web sites, asda.com or asda.co.uk will experience extreme difficulty today.

Customer Services have acknowledged a fault and are taking the names and address of every customer that has phoned up to complain about their 'customer experience'

They could not give an ETA for the resolution of the fault.

cools story bro

needs more onions

"Da Misk" content is so poor presently that 'bumping' ancient threads is more fun.

This ridiculous bumping of years-old threads by one-post-wonders could be easily stopped. I use a couple of sites where threads are automatically locked when there is no activity for 1 year. I don't see why they couldn't implement that here.

On the flipside of that, there's a Manics forum I've long since given up on which has the opposite policy - if you want to discuss something, you first have to search for threads loosely related to your topic, and bump them, regardless of their age. I've seen threads not touched since 2002 bumped back to the top for renewed discussions on something only vaguely related, because the common pressure is that it's a "waste" of a thread to just start a new one.

They're not the brightest bunch, really.
