Ash bucket

Any suggestions as to where to get the best ash bucket from , at a reasonable cost?

I don't know about ash bucket, however we tend to empty our woodburning stove ash straight from the removable tray, into a failed from the outset jamie oliver roasting tray that peeled within a few weeks of use, it is now also used for catching water drained from the front filter of the washing machine (multi-modal).

If you have a regular fire-place (why)!? then i'd do the same & simply take the ash to cool / ..a bin sticking around is likely to be forgotten & knocked over as well as the insulating aspect of the lid (longer to cool).

Cold ash is good in your compost wheelie bin.

Try B&Q or Homebase we just use a galvanised bucket, they don't last forever though maybe 2-3 years, but they are cheap to buy.
