I have been a reasonably moderate user of ASOS for the past few years, without any issue. I'm a heavy user of online shopping in general, but this is the first time this has happened to me.
I bought some stuff from ASOS last week delivered by DPD, and only got around to opening it today. I bought around £100 of clothes (after discount e.c.t).
Just before I was about to open the package, I noticed it looked like someone had already opened the package, and then tried to seal it back up (using the build in seal). I opened it anyways, and I noticed it had everything but the hoodie I ordered. I thought my mind was playing tricks on me, so I checked and counted the clothing and indeed the hoodie was missing.
I live with elderly parents, so someone must had opened it at the depot or somewhere in transit. I checked my ring doorbell which shows the DPD man carrying the parcel, and it sort of seems that the parcel had already been opened from the seam (it's not neat, like a factory seal).
In all my years of online shopping, this is the first time something like this has happened - and I won't lie, I'm quite concerned. I'm worried to buy anything of value from ASOS again, and I'm now worried of DPD in general because I occasionally get stuff delivered by them, usually from the 3-4 same drivers that serve the area.
I'll be reporting this to them, but does it matter that I've only noticed now after a week? I usually stockpile my parcels until I get around to opening them.
Anyone else had a similar expereicne ?
