Both of these look great but just can't decide which one to get...both c£300 so it's a close call.

Asus every time however it has half the hard drive space and you can't upgrade this easily.

To be honest you can get far better machines going to novatech.co.uk, get a nice dual core laptop for that money with all the nobs and whistles.

Go through quidco.comp and save a further 3percent.

I would go with the samsung

I'd go with the samsung seeingas my last eee broke.

Thanks, I'll check them out. However, I really do want a UMPC so I can keep it in my manbag and with me most of the time...and I have narrowed it down to these two now.

Anyone seen a full, proper review of the NC10 yet?

I'm surprised, I found mine to be one of the best build machines I've had in a while. Which model did you have?

@markinoxon: Have you dismissed the 901 and the 1000 (the SSD edition)?

@ratatatatata: Could you link me to that dual-core 1.5kg £300 dual-core laptop on novatech you mentioned please? I'm having trouble finding it.

Personally I dislike samsung for several reasons and I'm pretty happy with my eee 701 so I know which one I'd choose, but which one would be best for you depends on your uses.

Samsung if you want the looks, bigger HD and slightly cheaper.

Asus if you want the 2 year warranty and 11n wireless.
