ive red online that if the 2p coin has 'new pence' on it instead off 'two pence' it's worth a couple off hundred quid?
anyone know if it's true or who i should go to to ask about it? e.g bank or post office?

Ahhh, that's the 20p piece which isn't dated. Yes, worth a fair bit, I have heard of people paying a few hundred pounds for them.
