AVG free, installed but says your 30 day trial period has expired but I definitely have AVG free installed any ideas please?

As stated in the title i get a warning message from AVG saying your 30 days are up but I have avg free installed.
please help

uninstall it and reinstall it. Ensure that you choose the free version. I had selected the wrong one on first install but once I reinstalled it worked fine..
just unistall and reinstall
sound like you instaled the paid for version, you need the free version
uninstall and install AVAST. Better reviews and no annoying pop-ups etc. Just stays in the background permanently.

I've had this problem myself MANY times over the past few years with AVG. Seems its a problem with their software. Like everyone else is saying, you've just got to uninstal and reinstall it. Make sure you have the latest version, doesn't seem to have this problem for me any more.
yes you must have installed the wrong version ... as said uninstall & reinstall the free one but make sure you completely remove all the old files or you will have problems with it!
I have an error on my Malware Protection, and there is a button for 'update now' but after repeatedly pressing it, IT WONT DO IT!!
It sounds like you've installed the security suite and not the FREE AVG version, un-install it again and get it from the makers site:

There are two types of AVG free, the one you have is free (trial version) with the option to purchase after 30 days.
The second is totally free.
