Self inflicted?
Awful news. Such a young age RIP, Avicii
The cause of death hasn't been released.

There is speculation in the media related to his poor health in the past but no actual confirmation of the cause anywhere as yet.

I read ages ago that his alcoholism forced him to retirement, and was the reason he had his gallbladder and appendix removed. acute pancreatitis, etc etc

It's no suprise to me, only that he missed the 27 club

Sad news. He was always a great performer at festivals and knew how to read and control the crowd with his DJ skills. Seen him a few times

Burying your head in the sand is no way to live.

It's undoubtedly sad, but also entirely relevant to understand how people died so others may learn from those mistakes.
