    AVOID VIRGIN!

    just had a text and email syaing they made a mistake and will be charging me more for the current tarriff im on

    Long story short i called up and they admitted they made a mistake but they wouldnt budge and only offered me a higher costing sim deal which just isnt fair so i decided i had enough and told them to stick it !

    the sim deal was the £5.00 per month for unlimited calls / texts and 250mb of data for vifrgin customers as seen on here.

    I always find that with Virgin you have to speak gently to caress the mind and fully appreciate what you are wanting

    Then enter into a Virgin service slowly but with a little force

    Do not just rush in and bang about thinking you are on to a winner or else you will come to an end very quickly

    Take your time and appreciate the Virgin service and it will be OK

    Virgin made a mistake and everyone should boycott them? Thousands should lose their job into the bargain.

    I enjoyed my Virgin when i first got into it, obviously over time I have used it more until more recently I just seem to hammer it when I need to, I do not think I appreciate it anymore, Although now i am think about everything everywhere, and it just doesn't seem fair to what was my Virgin.

    Put it this way: You're either happy with your service or you're not.

    Thing is if you're not happy then you're far more likely to report a negative experience than a positive one.

    Say a service works as it should. Netflix, Xbox Live, water, gas, electricity etc. Do you call up he company and tell them they're doing a good job when it's working as it should? No!! When it works we take it for granted and we say nothing of it. When it stops working, however, that's when we speak up. Hence online opinion is generally negatively biased.

    Virgin have given me bad service a couple of times over the years, both times I complained to them rather than on a public forum and got compensation out of it.

    no doubt the op rang up and started immediately frothing down the phone so VM did everything they could for them to leave

And a lot if company's tend to have surveys you can do on your experience / service and I know how good it feels to receive a nice comment etc so I actually do I will ask for their names or try and look on their badge so I can write how was good and I never complain because I don't think I would be able to control myself so I generally let bad experiences go and like writing about someone how has made me smile etc and if my tv or whatever went down I would never ring anyone up ranting and raving as were all only human and mistakes are made and servers do go down it's life!

    For every one person like you there are 1,000+ people who will not report a positive experience. Just because you do it, it does not mean that it is commonplace.

    I didn't say it was! I was responding to the comment that about more people are likely to complain than report a good experience / service which I totally agree with but my point was that I don't! I mean I was out for a meal and the waitress burnt me and spilt stuff all over my dress and didn't even apologise but did I complain no because I'd probably hit the roof and I'd probably just get myself upset but I certainly will let someone know how happy that's alls I was saying so am not too sure what your getting at?

    dunno where virgin are getting their staff from but they have gone down the pan over the few years.

    i cancelled my service withe them, gave them notice and they then put a bad marker on my credit file.

    complained and they never responded to emails etc

    they refused to compensate me so i took the complaint to the cisca and they paid up £100 very quickly then
